Where do your numbers come from?
Three places, triangulated: Manheim's own MMR for the wholesale floor, live retail listings within your chosen radius for the exit price, and the unit's condition report for recon. We work backwards from retail — the way a disciplined buyer would with unlimited time.
Is this affiliated with Manheim?
No. Block Buddy is an independent tool built by dealers, for dealers. We read the same public run lists and condition reports you can, just a lot faster. Manheim® and MMR® are trademarks of Cox Automotive, used here for identification only.
What if I disagree with a ceiling?
Override it. Every input — recon budget, margin target, days-to-turn — is a slider, not a sermon. Your overrides also teach the engine: it learns your shop's real recon costs and your market's real retail within a few sales.
Does it work for Simulcast and mobile bidding?
Yes. Ceilings live wherever you bid: a second screen during Simulcast, your phone in the lane, or a printable lane sheet if you like paper. If the run order changes morning-of, we re-sync automatically.
How long does setup actually take?
